All I can say as I’m updating my Apple TV+ and watching the Top 5 goals of 2023, Karol wasn’t in it once.

I think both sides got what they wanted from each other. A new club got a name that was young and exciting to build a fan base, while a player got to be a superstar in a small pond and an increase of worldwide attention.

We both needed this!

Karol thought Charlotte was bigger than it was and Charlotte that that Karol was bigger than he actually was as well. Karol (and frankly all of our DPs so far, just haven’t planned out.) This is why I believe the gaffer said what he said.

I wish Karol the best of luck in his new endeavor but honestly it seems like a dumpster fire. My only issue with this loan is that Karol will realize that the grass is not always greener on the other side and will play hard just enough to wait out the loan. Deano (I prefer Deaner actually) will have this club turned around to the point where we won’t need him anymore.

The king will change by the love of the Crown will endure. For the Crown!

Well-put! I noticed that about the Top 5 goals also...in fairness he had like all the ones ranked #6-#15 but I did notice it!

I am not sure how you could fall in love with such a weak in the air player. A lot of people did him a disservice allowing the man to be a wuss in the air. Plus his diving attitude was deplorable. Give me aggression on the field from the front line and as a fan, the matches will forever be rememberable. When Copetti came in, Swin became a better player. His play became more intense, his work rate improved, his aggression increased and his whining decreased. This in itself, told me our scouts/recruiters were out of their league. Putting the DP tag on Swinderski was a huge mistake for this club. We wasted a year working him into a player who then learned from Copetti, in some aspects, how the game should be played.

I understand a bit of your criticism but it's a little harsh! He was pretty good in the air toe-tapping on the end line then dinking it over to Lindsey for the best assist of the season, but yeah wish he would've scored a few more headers.

Was there anyone around? He was weak in the air if a defender contested it. Most anyone can head with no one challenging, but to be a top level player, you have when challenges in the air in my book.

Nicely said! Thorough. “You gotta Have Heart,” right?

Heartfelt and totally understandable. I was never in on him, just the attitude alone was so deplorable I couldn't get over it. Acting like he was entitled to success without earning it, being bigger than the team. Meh, whatever. Happy trails ✌️
